An Jian, male. Han nationality is a native of Anping County, Hebei Province. He was born in 1952, entered the work force in 1969 and joined the CPC in 1972. He was Vice Chairman of 11th NPC Legislative Affairs Commission from 2008 to 2010. On August 28, 2010, he was removed from post of Vice Chairman of 11th NPC Legislative Affairs Commission. Since Sept. 2010, he serves as Vice Director of State Council Legislative Affairs Office.
