Biography
Chen Huanyou, male, Han nationality, is a native of Nantong, Jiangsu Province. Chen was born in 1934, joined the PLA in 1949, joined the CPC in 1954 and graduated from People's University of China.
Chen taught at and served in different party organizations within the Engineering Economics Department of Jilin Industrial University. He later assumed party leadership roles at the Wuxi Diesel Engine Plant. In 1983 he was elected vice-governor of Jiangsu Province. In 1993 he became governor and Party secretary of Jiangsu Province.
