Deng Daokun, male, Han nationality, is a native of Dawu county, Hubei Province. He was born in 1946, joined the CPC in 1973, and graduated from the Central Party School with a master's degree. Deng has held leading Party posts in his native Dawu county and Xiaogan, and he has served two terms as vice-governor of Hubei Province. Deng Daokun recently served as assistant secretary of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee.
He became Vice-Chairman of the Hubei Provincial People's Congress in 2005.
