Biography

Dorji, male, Tibet nationality, is a native of Gyaca County of Tibet Autonomous Region. He was born in 1953, started to work in 1978 and joined CPC in 1995. Dorji graduated from Chengdu Geology Institute in 1978. He is the first Tibet Fellow of Chinese Academy of Engineering. Dorji serves as Deputy-Director and Secretary of Party Group of the Bureau of Land and Resources of the Tibet Autonomous Region since 2009.

He was a Deputy of the 10th NPC and a Delegate of 6th and 7th CPC Autonomous Regional Congress of the Tibet Autonomous Region. Dorji is an Alternate Member of 17th CPC Central Committee and in 2011, he became Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Tibet Autonomous Regional People's Congress.
