Biography

Li Peilin, male, Han nationality, is a native of Jinan City, Shandong Province. He was born in 1955, entered work force in 1970, graduated from Shandong University with a Bachelor Degree in 1982. He studied at Lyon University from 1983-1984 and received a Master Degree from Lyon University. In 1987, he received his Doctorate Degree in Sociology from Paris I University (Université Paris I - Panthéon Sorbonne).From 1993 to 2013, he was Vice Director of Sociology Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Social Science. Since 2013, he is Vice President, Chinese Academy of Social Science (CASS). In 2012, he was elected as Alternate Member, 18th CPC Central Committee.
