Biography
Liu Zuotian, male, Han nationality, is a native of Luannan, Hebei province. He was born in 1941, joined the CPC in 1965, and graduated from the department of Agronomy of Hebei Agricultural University. He is an adjunct professor. Liu has held posts at the May 7th Cadre School of Hebei, where he served as president until 1980. Subsequently he transferred to the Hebei Institute of Economic Administration, where he was president until 1993. Liu was delegate to the 10th NPC.
Liu Zuotian was executive vice-chairman of the standing committee of the Hebei Provincial People's Congress.
