Biography

Song Zhaosu, male, Han nationality, is a native of Nanyang, Henan Province. He was born in 1941, joined the CPC in 1965 and graduated from Zhengzhou University.

Song held leading positions in the CPC Henan Provincial Committee and in 1988 he became vice-governor of Henan Province, continuing to serve in the province until the mid-1990s. In 1998 Song was made acting governor of Gansu province and a year later, governor.

Song Zhaosu served as an alternate member of the 15th CPC Central Committee and is a member of the 16th CPC Central Committee.
