Biography Highlight

Wei Fulin, male, Manchu nationality, is a native of Xinbin, Liaoning province. He was born in 1938, and joined the CPC in 1961. He was awarded the rank of major general in 1988, and awarded the rank of lieutenant general in 1993. In 2000, he was awarded the rank of general, and he was appointed as the chief of staff of the PLA Military Appointments Department. He became vice-chairman of the ethnic affairs committee of the NPC in 2003.
