Biography
Xu Lin, male, Han nationality, is a native of Shanghai Municipality. He was born in 1963, joined the CPC, graduated from Shanghai Normal University and entered the work force in 1982. From 2013 to 2015, he was Director of CPC Publicity Department of Shanghai Municipality. From 2015 to 2016, he was Depiuty Director of the Central LSG for Internet Security and Informationization and in June 2016, he replaced Lu We as Director of the Central LSG for Internet Security and Informationization (aka -- Central Leading Group for Cyberspace Affairs). in 2017 he became the Director of the General Office of the Central LSG for Internet Security and Informationization. He is a member of the 19th CPC Central Committee.
