Yang Xiaodu, male, Han nationality, is a native of Shanghai Municipality. He was born in 1953, entered the work force in 1970, joined the CPC in 1973, and studied at Shanghai Chinese Medicine College from 1974 to 1976. From 2012 to 2013, he was Secretary of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee Discipline Inspection Committee. Since 2014, he is Deputy Secretary, CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and in 2016 he became Minister of the Ministry of Supervision and Head of the National Bureau of Corruption Prevention. In March 2018 he was name director of the Director of the National Supervisory Commission, a new anti-corruption agency the merges both the Ministry of Supervision and the National Bureau of Corruption Prevention.
