Agya Losangtudain, male, Mongol nationality, was born in 1950 in Haiyan, Qinghai Province. He is a "Living Buddha" of the Taer (Gumbum) Monastery in Qinghai Province. Beginning in 1965, he studied the Tibetan language and scripture at the Zhaxi Lhunbo Lamasery in Xigaze County in the Tibet Autonomous Region.
