Biography

Doje Cering, male, Tibetan nationality, is a native of Xiahe County, Gansu Province. He was born in 1939, entered the workforce in 1955 and joined the CPC in 1960.

Doje Cering held responsible positions in the Tibet Autonomous Region for the first 25 years of his career. By 1985, he was deputy secretary of the CPC Tibet Autonomous Regional Committee and later acting chairman and chairman of the Tibet Autonomous Region People's Congress. In 1990, he moved to Beijing as vice-minister, Ministry of Civil Affairs. He later became Minister of Civil Affairs.

Doje Cering was a member of 12th CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and a member of the 13th, 14th and 15th CPC Central Committees. He is a member of the 16th CPC Central Committee.
