Gan Xin, male, Han nationality, is a native of Xinyi, Guangdong province. He was born in 1955, and joined the CPC in 1975. He finished his education as a postgraduate at the Guangdong Provincial Party School. Gan Xin is in charge of city industry, technology, transportation, energy sources, information industry, wireless management, and safety management. He was elected as vice-mayor of Guangzhou in 2005.
