Biography

Hu Chunhua, male, Han nationality, is a native of Wufeng County, Hubei province. He was born in 1963 and joined the CPC in 1983. He served as the standing commissioner and secretary-general of the Tibet Autonomous Regional CPC Committee.

He served as the first secretary of the CYLC Central Committee from 2007-2008, Governor of Hebei Province from 2008-2009 and Deputy Secretary of the Hebei CPC Provincial Committee for one year in 2009. He was a member of the 17th CPC Central Committee. From 2009 to 2012, he was Secretary of the CPC Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Committee.

In 2012, he became a member of the Politburo of the 18th CPC Central Committee. From 2012 to 2017 he was Secretary of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee. In 2017 he became a Member of the Politburo of the 19th CPC Central Committee. He was appointed Vice-Premier of the State Council in 2018.
