Ji Yunshi, male, Han nationality, is a native of Haimen, Jiangsu Province. He was born in 1945, graduated from Shandong University, and joined the CPC in 1975.
Ji has spent almost his entire career in Jiangsu Province, chiefly in Suzhou City. After working in various light industry factories, he was appointed vice-governor of Jiangsu Province in 1989, governor in 1999, and deputy secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee in 2001. In 2002, he became governor of Hebei Province.
He served as Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and Director of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs from 2006-2011. Ji was an alternate member of the 15th CPC Central Committee and a member of the 16th CPC Central Committee.
