Biography

Liu Binjie, male, Han nationality, is a native of Changwu County, Shaanxi province. He was born in 1948, graduated from Beijing Normal University in 1982, and joined the CPC in 1971. He holds a master's degree and he is a professor, senior economist and doctoral tutor.

From 2007 to 2013 he served as director of the General Administration of Press and Publication and Director of the National Copyright Administration of the PRC. He was also a member of the 17th CPC Central Committee.
