Wang Guanzhong, male, Han nationality, is a native of Zhaodong City, Heilongjiang Province. He was born in 1953, entered the work force in 1970, and joined the CPC in 1974. From 2008 to 2012, he was Director of General Office of CPC Central Committee Military Committee. Since October 2012, he is Deputy Chief, Headquarters of the General Staff, PLA. In 2015, he was promoted as General of PLA. Currently, he is Member, 18th CPC Central Committee, Deputy Chief of the Joint Staff of CPC Central Military Commission, and Secretary General of the State National Defense Mobilization Committee.
