Biography

Wang Guosheng, male, Han nationality, is a native of Dong'e County, Shandong province. He was born in 1956, entered the work force in 1974, and joined the CPC in 1975. He was an alternate member of the 17th CPC Central Committee and deputy secretary of the Hubei Provincial CPC Committee. From 2011 to 2016 he was Governor of Hubei Province.

Wang was a member of the 18th CPC Central Committee and served as Secretary of the Qinghai CPC Provincial Committee from 2016 to 2018. From 2017 to 2018 he was Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Qinghai Provincial People's Congress. He is a member of the 19th CPC Central Committee and in 2018 he became Secretary of the Henan CPC Provincial Committee.
