Biography

Wang Weizhong, male, graduated from the Department of Hydraulic Engineering at Tsinghua University in 1984. He holds a Doctorate Degree. Wang was the former Head of Department of Facilities and Financial Support of the Ministry of Science and Technology and former Director of The Administrative Center for China'a Agenda 21 (ACCA21). He was vice-minister of Ministry of Science and Technology from 2010 to 2014.

From 2016 to 2017 he was Secretary of Taiyuan CPC City Committee. In 2017 he became a member of the 19th CPC Central Committee and Secretary of Shenzhen CPC City Committee.
