Yang Zhiwen, male, Han nationality, is a native of Ningbo, Zhejiang province. He was born in 1947, joined the CPC in 1983, and graduated from Chongqing University with a major in electrical machinery. He is a senior economist. In the late 1990's, Yang served as mayor of Neijiang county of Sichuan province and in 2000 he became deputy director of the Economic and Trade Commission in Sichuan.
