Zhu Peikang, male, Han nationality, is a native of Jinshan, Shanghai. He was born in 1937, joined the CPC in 1937 and graduated from Tianjin University.
Zhu spent over 20 years at the China Architectural Research Institute, working as a technician and engineer. In 1988, he became secretary of the general office of the NPC Standing Committee. He was also actively involved in the leadership of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomingtang and several social organizations.
Zhu was a standing committee member of the 8th and 9th CPPCC National Committees. He is currently a Vice-Chairman of the Subcommittee for Handling Proposals of the CPPCC National Committee.
