Jiang Shan, female, Han nationality, is a native of Anhui province. She was born in 1946, attained a university education, and joined the CPC in 1980. Jiang achieved the senior official title during the spring and autumn period for the person in charge of public works in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. She served as a member of the CPC Committee of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. Jiang spent most of her career in the Army Corps Agricultural Branch of Xinjiang. She was elected vice-president of the 9th session of the CPPCC of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in 2003.
