Biography
Bian Changtai, male, Han nationality, born in 1931, is a native of Liaoning Province. Bian, a CPC member, was a professor at the Northeast China University of Finance and Economics. He was chairman of the Dalian Municipal Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang, and he was also a member of that party's central committee. He was the vice-president of Dalian Association of Promotion for Chinese Culture, the consultant of Association for Dalian municipal Economy and Administrative Association for Industry and Commerce.
Bian was a member of the 7th and 8th CPPCC National Committees and a standing committee member of the 9th CPPCC National Committee.
