Fu Mingzhong, female, Han nationality, is a native of Beijing. She was born in 1950, joined the party in 1976, and graduated from Harbin Polytechnic University with a master's degree. She is a senior economist and pharmacist. In 2001 she was elected as chairman of the China National Corporation of Medicines Limited.
