Biography
Sam Qian, male, Han nationality, is a native of Yangzhou, Jiangsu province. He was born in 1963, graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China, and obtained a doctorate in astrophysics from Columbia University. He was a Bakhmeteff fellow in fluid dynamics at Columbia University and a geophysical fluid dynamics fellow at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in the USA. Mr. Qian was an associate director in the risk management group of Barclays Capital. He is currently president and chief financial officer of the China Finance Online Company Limited.
