Biography
Wu Yaowen, male, Han nationality, is a graduated of Beijing Oil University.
Wu has more than 30 years' experience in the oil and natural gas industry. In 1988, he was named chief oil engineer of Energy Ministry. He later headed the state planning commission. In 1994, he was tapped to lead the International Cooperation Bureau of China Oil and Natural Gas Corporation.
Five years later, he was named director of China Oil and Natural Gas Co., Ltd.
