Biography
Xiong Youlun, male, Han nationality, is a native of Zaoyang, Hubei province. He was born in 1939, and obtained a master's degree from Xi'an Jiaotong University.
Xiong has been devoted to the research of mechanical engineering and electro-machinery control and automation, as well as related theories and technologies. He has made special contributions in terms of robotics, precision measurement theory, intellectual production and computer geometry. His major works include "Mathematic Method of Precision", "Robotics", and over 100 dissertations. Academician Xiong has been a visiting professor at Salford University in the UK.
