Yang Jianqiang, male, Bai Nationality, is a native of Yunlong, Yunnan Province. He was born in 1948 and joined the CPC in 1975. In 1977, he graduated from physics department of Jilin University, and in 2001, he received doctorate from Tsinghua University.
He was an alternate member of 14th and 15th CPC Central Committee. He is currently vice-chairman of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission.
