Biography
Zhang Changping, male, Han nationality, is a native of Xiaogan, Hubei province. He was born in 1954 and joined the CPC in 1975. Zhang is an assistant engineer.
Zhang has long been involved with the CYLC Committee of Hunan province, where he served as deputy secretary of the provincial office until 1991. Subsequently he served as deputy director of the Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Commission of the province.
Zhang Changping served as mayor of Xiamen from 2002 to 2006. He was a deputy to the 9th NPC.
Zhang is currently Vice-Governor of Fujian Province.
