Zhu Yuli, male, Han nationality, is a native of Rugao, Jiangsu province. He was born in 1934, joined the CPC in 1952, and graduated from Harbin Polytechnical University in 1954. Subsequently, he attended the Machine Tool Institute in Moscow, the Soviet Union, graduating in 1959. Zhu held leading posts in the State Education Commission, where he served as general secretary until 1989. In 1992 he was appointed vice-minister of the Ministry of Aerospace Industry. Zhu was a member of the 15th CPC Central Committee and a deputy to the NPC.
