Hu Yue, male, Han nationality, is a native of Yaoxian, Shaanxi Province. He joined the CPC in 1972. His early career centered on work in the Shaanxi Provincial Committee where he became deputy secretary-general. He was secretary of the Hanzhong Municipal Committee, then became director of the United Front Work Department of the Shaanxi Provincial Committee.
