Aman Haji, male, Uygur nationality, is a native of Atushi, Xinjiang. He was born in 1950, started to work in February 1969, and joined the CPC in 1983. Aman is a senior engineer and graduated from Xi'an Jiaotong University, majoring in Electrical Machinery in 1976.
Aman has spent most of his career with the Highway Administration of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, where his duties included directing the sectors of communications, electric power, telecommunications, and urban and rural construction. Aman had also led the Party committee of the Highway Administration, and he presently served as vice-chairman of his native area. However, in November 2004, he was found guilty of taking bribes and removed from his post.
