Ding Fengying, female, Han nationality, is a native of Luotian County, Hubei province. She was born in 1943, and graduated from junior college. She joined the CPC in December 1961.
Ding spent most of the 1960s holding posts in Beifeng Commune of Luotian County, and subsequently held the post of first secretary of the CPC Huanggang Prefectural Committee in Hubei Province. She graduated from the Special Management Class for Cadres of Central China Teachers' University in 1985. In the late 1990s she was elected chairman of the Hubei Provincial Women's Federation and in January 2003, she was elected vice-chairman of the CPPCC Hubei Provincial Committee.
