Biography
Fang Xin, female, Han nationality, is a native of Beijing Municipality. She was born in 1955 and graduated from Department of Mechanic Engineering of Beijing Technology University in 1980. She earned a Master Degree from Beijing Technology University in 1982 and a Doctorate Degree from Economic Institute of Tsinghua University in 1997. She was a Member of 10th NPC Standing Committee and Delegate of 16th CPC National Congress. Currently, she is a Member of 11th NPC Standing Committee, a Member of 11th NPC Education, Science, Culture and Health Committee and Deputy Secretary of the CPC Leading Party Group of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
