Gu Chaoxi, male, Han nationality, is a native of Nantong City, Jiangsu Province. He was born in 1958, entered the work force in 1975, joined the CPC in 1979, and graduated from Nanjing University in 1982 with a Bachelor Degree. He was Vice Governor of Yunnan Province from 2007 to 2012. Since 2012, he is Vice-Minister, Ministry of Civil Affairs.
