Hua Jian, female, Han nationality, is a native of Shandong Province. She was born in 1953, and graduated from East China University of Science and Technology Institute in 1977. From 2003 to 2008, she was Director of Communication Department of Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council. Since 2008, she is Deputy Director, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council.
