Jiang Jiemin 蒋洁敏

Biography

Jiang Jiemin, male, Han nationality, is a native of Yangxin County, Shandong Province. He was born in 1955, and graduated from the University of Shandong. He is a senior economist. He has almost thirty years experience in China's oil and gas industry, and he is currently serving as president of the PetroChina Company and its parent company China National Petroleum Corporation. He was also an alternate member of the 17th CPC Central Committee and also served as Chairman of Board of the Directors of PetroChina Company.

He is a member of the 18th CPC Central Committee and in 2013 he was elected director of State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council -- he was removed from the post of director in September 2013.

Jiang Jiemin was expelled from the CPC in June, 2014.
