Li Daoyu, male, Han nationality, is a native of Shanghai. He was born in 1932, graduated from the University of Shanghai, and joined the foreign service. He served as deputy division director, division director, and deputy director-general of the department of International Organizations and Conferences of the Foreign Ministry of China.
He is currently president of the China Arms Control and Disarmament Association, vice-president of the China International Friendship Exchange Association, and vice-president of the China Women Development Fund. He was elected president of the China International Public Relations Association in 2003.
