Li Jianbao, male, Han Nationality, is a native of Jiangxi province. He was born in 1959, graduated from the Changchun Geology Institute, and obtained a doctorate from the University of Tokyo in Japan. He was a professor of engineering at Tsinghua University until 1997, and he was appointed president of Qinghai University in 2002.
