Li Lianning, male, Han nationality, is a native of Pei County, Jiangsu province. He was born in 1956, joined the CPC, and graduated from the law department of Xiamen University. Li held leading positions at the Ministry of Education, where he served as director of the Education Department. In 2004, he was elected deputy secretary-general of the 10th Standing Committee of the NPC.
