Biography Highlight

Liu Yazhou, male, Han nationality, is a native of Su County, Anhui Province, but born in Ningbao City, Zhejiang Province. He was born in 1952, entered the work force in 1968, joined the CPC in 1970, and graduated from Wuhan University in 1975. From 2003 to 2009, he was Deputy Political Commissar of Air Force of PLA. Since 2009, he is Political Commissar of the National Defense University. From 1996 to 2003, he was Major General of Air Force of PLA; From 2003 to 2012, he was Lieutenant General of Air Force of PLA. Since 2012, he is the General of the Air Force of PLA. He was a member of the 18th CPC Central Committee.
