Biography

Ma Wenpu, male, Han nationality, is a native of Jing Xian County, Hebei province. He was born in 1945, graduated from university and joined the CPC in 1965. Ma began working at the International Department of the CPC Central Committee in 1970. He served as deputy director of the Bureau of America, Oceania and Northern Europe there until 1994.

Ma Wenpu was appointed vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee in 1997.
