Mao Fumin, male, Han nationality, is a native of Tianjin City. He was born in 1946, joined the CPC in 1975, and graduated from Beijing University in 1969 with a major in mathematics. Mao served as director of the Central Archives until 2000, and in that same year he was elected as director of the State Archives Administration where he served until 2006.
