Biography

Shen Yiqin, female, Bai nationality, is a native of County Zhijin, Guizhou Province. She was born in 1959, joined the CPC in 1985 and started her career in 1977. She is a member of the Standing Committee of the Guizhou CPC Provincial Committee, Director of the Guizhou CPC Provincial Propaganda Department, and President of the Guizhou Provincial Federation of Social Sciences.

In 2017 Shen was named Acting Governor and Vice-Governor of Guizhou Province and in 2018 she became Governor of Guizhou. Shen is a member of the 19th CPC Central Committee. In 2020 she became Secretary of the Guizhou CPC Provincial Party Committee.
