Biography

Shu Shengyou, male, Han nationality, is a native of Yushan, Jiangxi Province. Born in 1936, he joined the CPC in 1959.

Shu's spent his life in Jiangxi Province, where he was an important party and governmental official. He was vice-mayor, then mayor of Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province, then vice-governor, acting governor and, twice, governor of Jiangxi province. Additionally, he was a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jingdezhen City Committee, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jiangxi Provincial Committee, and deputy secretary of the Jiangxi Provincial Committee. Shu's interest was economics and business.

Shu was a member of the 15th CPC Central Committee and the 9th CPPCC National Committee.
