Suo Lisheng, male, Han nationality, is a native of Jiangling, Hubei Province. He was born in 1944, and graduated from the University of Michigan in the USA with a doctoral degree of civil engineering. Suo has spent most of his career with the Hydroelectric Power Department of Hohai University, and he served as vice-president of the University in 1997.
