Wang Zhaoxing, male, Han nationality, is a native of Jilin province. He was born in 1959, and received a doctorate in banking from Shaanxi University of Finance and Economics, where he was a lecturer until 1987.
Wang also currently serves as the executive director of the China Society for Finance and Banking, and enjoys special allowance from the State Council. He is the author of numerous papers and books on financial subjects, including "On Finance," "China's Financial Structure," "Supervision and Management of the Securities Market" and "About the Financial Markets." He served as vice-chairman of the China Banking Regulatory Commission from 2005 to 2019.
