Wang Zhigang, male, Han nationality, is a native of Dingyuan County, Anhui Province. He was born in 1957, entered the work force in 1976, and graduated from Northwest Telecommunications Engineering Institute in 1982 with a Bachelor Degree. From 2008 to 2011, he was General Manager and Deputy Secretary of Leading Party Group of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC). Since April 2011, he is Executive Vice-Minister and Deputy Secretary of Leading Party Group of Science and Technology Ministry.
