Wei Leping, male, Han nationality, is a native of Zhejiang province. He was born in 1946, graduated from Tsinghua University and received a M.S. degree in communication and information systems from the Research Institute of Post and Telecommunications. He is executive director and executive vice-president of China Telecom Corporation Limited. Wei is a professorial level senior engineer with 27 years of experience in research and development for network technologies in the telecommunications industry in China.
