Biography
Xiang Chaozong, male, Miao nationality, is a native of Malipo, Yunnan Province. He was born in 1923 and studied at the Yunnan Institute for Ethnic Minorities in 1953.,
Xiang Chaozong began his career as deputy section chief of the Malipo Telecommunications Supervisory Office. He then became involved in the CPPCC Yunnan Provincial Committee serving as vice-chairman of the 4th through the 8th committees. Xiang has also been involved in the CPPCC national committee. He has been a member of the standing committee of the 5th through the 9th national committees.
Xiang is Vice-Chairman of the CPPCC Yunnan Provincial Committee.
